It is with much excitement that I write this (one of the reasons is I put 3 sugars in my tea instead of the usual none and it's sent me all daft) but, the other reason is Sir James of Kirkpatrickshire (Jim Kirkpatrick to you, if you don't mind) and Alisdair Grant MacKenzie have kindly asked if I'd like to perform at this year's Audlem Music Festival.

My reply was: "No...I'm tidying my bedroom that weekend". Only joking. I'm doing that the weekend after, so, I'll be available! I can't tell you how excited I am...hold on...I can...I'm very excited!

This will be the first gig for me for 5 years with Jim, Neil and Ian. I've lived in Audlem all my life and it's the first Festival I'll have played at so it's a real honour for me.

Here's some details:

  • The band: New Moon Fever
  • The date: Sunday 25th of May
  • The venue: The Bridge Inn Car park
  • The time: 3.30pm
  • The music: Rockabilly and Rock and Roll
  • The audience: One that likes Rockabilly and Rock and Roll music (and daft jokes) if that's ok..but, if that's not your thing...come along anyway...you never know..you may like it and, I MAY tell a joke you've not heard before...however, I wouldn't bank on that to be honest!

Thank you.
A rather excited Billy Gibbons.
