'Parrot in the Co-op'

Readership of AudlemOnline in recent days has soared. And, our stats show, it's all down to two stories – the break-in at the Co-op and the white parrot that's been spotted (and photographed) at various spots in Audlem.

Almost inevitably, the boost to readership has excited our AudlemOnline marketing team. To his exasperation, the editor was told by them that the perfect story from a readership statistics point of view would be the parrot burgling the village Co-op.

When the editor protested that April 1st was over for another year and a parrot breaking into the shop might be somewhat far-fetched, they responded with this video that did make, it has to be admitted, a good point.

So, if you see a parrot behaving suspiciously near the Co-op, please do let us know.
