Parking Plea for Shropshire Street

Ed : We received this plea concerning illegal parking on Shropshire street

Something really needs to be done about car parking in the main Shropshire street.

My folks live in Moseley's Yard just off the Coop.

Each time I go to visit there is a vehicle parked on the double yellow lines, intruding well into the line of sight of those leaving the area.

It is dangerous parking. It is no different for these individual as it is for all of us...... you don't park on double yellow lines because they are there for a reason, in this instance especially so as the main road is so busy and visibility is minimal at the best of times.

There is a car park in the town.
