Three new photographs from 1974 have been added to the archive site.
Two of them show Audlem station in the state it was in some ten years after the line was finally closed, but presumably shortly before its final demolition. The third is an interesting view of Audlem Wharf before the Shroppie Fly was converted into a pub.
These photos can all be seen on the archive site by clicking here and selecting Audlem station or Kingbur Mill in the buildings section.
Launched in late 2013, the online history archive continues to be a popular sister project to AudlemOnline. If you haven't yet had chance to browse this fascinating resource we strongly recommend you set a aside a few minutes to take a look.
You can access the history archive directly at history.audlem.org.
