Replying to Audlem Ramblers walk through Lipley Farm, I can fill Jean in as Lipley Farm was my family home until I married. The cottage down the field was originally a shooting lodge and has now been converted into a delightful holiday home. When I lived there a family lived in the cottage and worked on the farm and as children we loved running down the field for drinks and snacks and to watch as they wound up the water from a well.
