Hog Roast And Family Fun At Coole Acres Fishery today

Coole Acres Fishery is hosting its Grand Opening today, Saturday June 16th, from 11.30 am to 4.30pm in our big barn – welcoming families, local residents and anglers to the new business with the following:

  • A free hog roast

  • Snugburys Ice Cream Van

  • Free tombola – bring your kids to dig a number out of our maggot container to win great prizes, kindly donated by Stapely Angling Center

  • Kids games (such as oversized Jenga, extra large Twister, Quoits etc.)

  • Stapeley Angling Center representation, including new kit demo at our lake(s)

  • Angling coach Mick Ellams

  • The Lord Combermere with a mobile bar for refreshments

The fishery can be found on Coole Lane, off the A530 near Nantwich and A525 near Audlem and will open its doors for a fun packed day of fishing demonstrations, refreshment and family fun.

The 20-acre site, surrounded by the beautiful Cheshire landscape boasts a number of lakes with the three-acre specimen Carp Lake well stocked with carp up to 27lb in weight, and three smaller one-acre fishing lakes.

The fish have been carefully selected and have had time to grow on for the past two years.

The new fishery represents a professional, yet friendly face of modern angling, with modern luxuries such as the soon to be completed custom designed Anglers lodge, which will provide refreshments and an eating area, a comfortable lounge area with TV, a bait and tackle store, showers and even a dryer for fishing kit for those more typical English summer days!

Brian and Bianca look forward to welcoming you to their fishery.
