Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee

At the first surgery by the Parch Council Held in the sparkling Annexe to the Town Hall , one of the matters raised was "what is Audlem doing to mark the celebration of 70 years of Queen Elizabeth II as our monarch" ??

Now I say to the community: "Who is willing to join me in trying to plan for the Jubilee weekend of June 3- 6th?"

To try to draw up a plan, with the help of the Parish Council, for, say, an old-fashioned party on the village playing field.

Bunting, flags, sandwiches, jellies, fancy hats etc.

Music perhaps. Punch and Judy?
