Those who attended the Church last Saturday evening, 8th October at 7.30pm were heart warmingly entertained by 25 members of Crewe Brass and 35 members of the Simply Allsorts Choir who took it in turns to provide the audience with a tuneful variety of numbers including traditional, classical, pop/jazz and musicals.
After the interval and a glass or two of wine, the concert continued with another set of numbers ending in a finale in which the brass band and choir joined forces to provide a rousing rendition of Land Of Hope and Glory with audience participation.
A pleasant evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The event was organised by Audlem and District Amenities Society as a community event.
We wish to thank those who helped to put the event together, and of course, Crewe Brass, the Simply Allsorts Choir and the Church for having us and all those who attended, for making the evening such a memorable occasion.
