Family query – help needed

I have received the following message and wonder whether anyone can any information that will help answer the query:

"I have been given your details as someone who may be able to help me and my family.

"We are trying to contact our cousin Michael Hastings. He was born in 1945 and came to live in Audlem, probably during the late 60s. His parents, Hilda and Arnold Hastings ran a newsagents business – in Audlem or in the vicinity.

"Michael worked for a local newspaper of the time selling advertising space. The paper definitely was not the Staffordshire Sentinel. We guess Hilda and Arnold are now deceased but we have not been able to find any details of their deaths or of Michael's marriage. We know he was married when we last saw him in 1973.

"We know this is a long shot but will be so pleased if you are able to cast any light on our search."
