The winners of the "Peoples Choice" competition, that took place at the South Cheshire Embroiderers Guild Exhibition during the Audlem Music & Arts Festival, have now been announced.

First prize went to Ann Pearce for "Secret Garden" worked in free-machine embroidery. She won a £25 voucher given by Sue Poole at the Flower Company.

Runner-up prize went to Maggie Phillips for her Audlem Banner that had been hand painted and free-machine embroidered. Her prize, a "Cream Tea for Two", was donated by Debbie & Vernon of the Salad Bowl.

A "Chairmans Special Award" went to Sylvia Stead who received the most votes in total for all her pieces of work put together.

The Chairman and committee would like to congratulate and thank all our members who submitted work that made this exhibition such a success.
