Electricity Supply Problems

It is thought that a downed power line near the Shroppie Fly was to blame for a power cut this evening. It is expected that strong winds caused the problem which began around 6:45pm on Sunday.

By 9:00pm on Sunday most residents were back on, although people living in certain areas are still experiencing problems. Any residents still experiencing problems in the morning are advised to contact Electricity North West on their 24 hour helpline number: 0800 195 4141.
