Local cheese brand Eatlean is getting behind the Nantwich 10k taking place this Sunday, 20 March.
Hosted by the Nantwich Running Club, this is the first renewal of the annual race since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dominic Wilkin, Eatlean's Sales Executive will be participating in the 10K, while the Eatlean team will be handing out both Eatlean Original cheese and NEW Eatlean Tasty Mature to each of the 250 competitors to take home. Eatlean will also be gifting an Eatlean hamper to the winner of the male and women's categories.
Launched in 2016, Eatlean has quickly become the nation's favourite healthier choice for cheese with significantly fewer calories, lower fat and higher protein than standard cheddar, making it a great choice for athletes to incorporate in their daily diet. Made with just cow's milk and a pinch of salt, their range of products are sold online as well as in all leading supermarkets.
Eatlean's brand ambassador, double Tokyo Gold-winning Paralympic medallist Kadeena Cox, often uses Eatlean as a protein fuel when competing or training.
She says: "Eatlean takes all the good stuff that cheese has to offer and unlocks it for athletes and nutrition conscious food lovers across the country.''
On the sponsorship, Eatlean Founder George Heler comments: "We are delighted to be showing our support to our local community through the Nantwich 10k. It's a great local event and the whole team is really looking forward to cheering on this year's participants.
"At Eatlean we're dedicated to providing healthier choices and we are looking forward to rewarding all the finishers with some delicious Eatlean cheese!"
