Dementia Awareness Week

May 16th to 22nd

The Nantwich Thursday Club meets on Thursdays to support those living with the condition along with their cares and families – we provide a friendly environment, refreshments, activities, and a smile.

During Dementia Awareness week there will be some extra events in Nantwich

Chatty Bench

Chatty Bench situated on Nantwich Memorial Square members of the group are yarn bombing the bench and will be on hand during the week to give advice and support or just a smile and friendly chat.

Awareness Stall

On Tuesday and Thursday of the week as well as the chatty bench Creating Dementia Friendly Nantwich (CDFN) will man a stall which will be supported by care providers, voluntary groups who provide care and support for all living with Dementia.

ADCA

Audlem and District Community Action will also be putting on some extra activities, and supporting those in Nantwich, during the Week.
