Changes to customer contact centre phone lines over the festive period
There will be changes to the opening hours for Cheshire East Council's contact centre phone lines over the festive period – but customers can still get in touch in an emergency.
The contact centre phone lines will be closed from 4pm on Christmas Eve until 8.30am on Monday January 4, with the exception of highways, registration, waste, waste permits; streetscape and people helping people services.
For emergencies out of hours call our Emergency Control Centre on 0300 123 5025.
For Social Care emergencies, contact our Social Care Out of Hours team on 0300 123 5022.

This includes how to make a payment, view your council tax account or contact specific services.
There are also online report forms, including for reporting a highways or waste problem.
The Customer Service Centres at Delamere House, Crewe and Macclesfield Town Hall remain closed until further notice due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
