Cedar Court Nursing Home is a pioneering home offering the very best in quality specialist care for those living with dementia.

Situated on the outskirts of Audlem, Cedar Court has been designed to nurture independence. We want our residents to continue to enjoy their day-to-day lives, so every aspect of the home has been carefully considered to meet our residents' needs.

Comfortable

All the furniture and soft furnishings, from non reflective glass in pictures, to carpets and colour coding, specialist bathrooms and dedicated themed areas, are designed and created to ensure residents feel comfortable and reassured.

Fully refurbished, the 35 comfortable bedrooms have countryside views and are part of 'community pods'. The rooms are also equipped to the highest standards, with internet connections, flat screen televisions and access to Sky TV.

Each room is well appointed and allows for personal possessions, which helps create a home from home environment for residents.

Accommodation

The living areas comprise sitting rooms, a morning room with views over extensive grounds and an elegant dining room. Residents are always welcome to enjoy the gardens with friends and relatives.

Cedar's skilled and professional staff are on hand 24 hours a day providing quality nursing care and ensuring that residents are treated with kindness in a safe and reassuring environment.

Experience

The home is managed by Carolyn Farmer who has over 15 years experience in nursing home management. Carolyn believes that care is first and foremost about people, looking after residents' needs and treating them with dignity and respect.

"Moving a family member into a home is a very stressful time for all concerned. My role as Home Manager is to ensure that this transition is as seamless as possible. I want to ensure that our residents at Cedar Court are able to live fulfilling lives."

All Morris Care nursing homes, including Cedar Court, have a dedicated social life coordinator to ensure residents have the opportunity to lead active social lives, with activities ranging from exercise classes and trips out, to gardening and restaurant evenings.
