Buerton PC are proceeding with a neighbourhood plan and that the input of parishoners is necessary.

The official notification from Cheshire East Council is available on the Buerton pages of this website under the minutes heading and all are invited to make a contribution.

The Cheshire East notification says:

A Neighbourhood Plan is a means to help shape local development in communities.

Buerton Parish Council, as a relevant body, has submitted proposals to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan for the Parish of Buerton.

The application meets the requirements of the planning regulations (Neighbourhood Planning (General) 2012 Regulations) and contains:

  • A map which identifies the area to which the area application relates. This is the Parish area for Buerton;
  • A statement explaining why this area is considered appropriate to be designated as a neighbourhood area; and
  • A statement that the organisation or body making the area application is a relevant body for the purposes of section 61G of the 1990 Act.

How to respond:

  • Cheshire East Council is holding a six week consultation to invite representations on the proposed Neighbourhood Area for Buerton Parish. The consultation will run from 3rd November 2014 until 17th December 2014.
  • Comments can be submitted to: email: neighbourhoods@cheshireeast.gov.uk via website http://cheshireeast-consult.limehouse.co.uk/portal/planning/np/ or in writing to: Spatial Planning, Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach, CW11 1HZ.
