This was posted on face book by Lizzie Tench yesterday morning.

"Today I celebrate it being 4 years to the day since my accident. A paradox, I know. Being injured was obviously catastrophic and life-changing, but it has led to so many opportunities I would never have had otherwise.

"In many ways, I am happier and more contented with life than I was before my accident. Not only are the people who have come into my life since then truly amazing, but it has taught me that I have some true friends; people who have stayed with me through the highs and lows and supported me through everything.

"I look forward to the challenges the next year will bring. Once again, I am happy to share my paraversary with my para twin, Hannah Hunt. Hanks, I love you very much. Have a great day XXX"

Lizzie is so brave and cheerful having lost the use of her legs after a trailer hit her one Saturday morning in Audlem on the Whitchurch road near the bridge.

I notice in the Market Drayton advertiser that a cyclist was knocked off their bike on the A 529 near Pellwall and the car did not stop but lost a blue wing mirror.

Please drivers take care, life is precious, pull out round cyclists and watch out for swinging trailers or similar hazards.
