Bagley Lane Jubilee Party

Over the past few days we have featured a number of local Jubilee parties in Salford and Heathfield/Hillary Drive.

Today it's the turn of Bagley Lane. Ollie reports:

Cheshire East Council have received a review and photographs of our Jubilee Party held last Sunday in Janet and Richard Furber's barn.

The rain did not dampen our spirits in the least! A request for a £100 Community Grant had been successful.

A fantastic turnout of nearly 100 neighbours, friends and family members enjoyed the BBQ and delicious desserts, with live music being provided by 'The New Kynsey Konsort'.

The children were each presented with a commemorative china mug.

Most evident was the community spirit which this event evoked -impressive! This is just the start of something good....feel it in my bones!
