Audlem school is featured in the Nantwich Chronicle's "School Report" section this week.

Headed by the title Parents join their children In class, the article says:

Pupils of St James' Primary School in Audlem have taken their parents back to the classroom to give them a taste of their daily school lives. More than 50 people attended an open day, where parents were able to take part in classes alongside their children and roam freely from room to room in the school.

Prospectiveparents were also invited to the event and witnessed the children speaking French and making crafts.

Hilary Serif, acting chairman of the governors, said: "It was a fantastic event and the parents could get a real taste of what the children get up to during a normal school day. The parents seem to be really pleased with how well the children engage with the classes, and the open day is definitely an event that we would look to do again in the future.

The full page article is accompanied by some lovely pictures of the children and parents enjoying the event.
