A presentation was made last night at a local conference on how the Audlem Parish Plan had been produced. The event was the Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council's Parish Conference, attended by Parish Councils from throughout the area and chaired by the Mayor of Crewe & Nantwich, Councillor Maureen Grant. The chairman of the Parish Plan committee, Bob Cartwright, gave a 30 minute presentation on how we had produced the plan, what we had planned for the future and what we had learnt from the process.

The Mayor will be in the village on Friday evening for the official launch of the Parish Plan in the Public Hall. This event will also celebrate the village's success in the Village of the Year competition and the award of Quality Status to Audlem Parish Council, the first local council to achieve this recognition. Other guests include the MP for Eddisbury, Stephen O'Brien and senior representatives from Cheshire County Council, Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council and Cheshire Community Council.

The event starts at 6.45pm on Friday and all are welcome. Wine, tea and coffee and light refreshments will be provided. The event should last around an hour.
