The new season of one and two day craft and needlework courses at Audlem Mill starts in a few weeks. The diverse range of subjects includes bobbin lace, rag rugging, beads, boat fender making, spinning and traditional boatwomen's bonnets. New to this year's programme is Christmas decorations and wreaths.

It's the ADAPTability event in Audlem on Saturday 2nd October at the Methodist Church Hall. One of the aims of that day will be to encourage local shopping. Audlem Online will be featuring local shops – eight new ones have opened in the past year – over the next ten days or so.

Audlem itemsMost of these feature paintings of Audlem Mill by local artist Sheila Webster. Wooden jigsaws (very challenging!), tea towels, mugs, boxes of fudge, fridge magnets, etc.

Christmas CardsA range of Christmas cards and calendars with canal scenes, including the Shroppie Fly and Audlem Mill in the snow.

NeedleworkKits designed and produced at Audlem Mill include the Abacus Designs range of over 200 cross stitch kits, "Take Away Teddy" knitting kit, Tube lined Angelina kits, and rag rug kits.Also many other kits – cross-stitch, long-stitch, latch hook, blackwork, goldwork, tapestry, embroidery, candlewicking, etc. Christmas card cross stitch kits designed and produced in Audlem, and other Christmas kits.
