I have been using catch up a lot on my iPlayer and happened on "Upstart Crow". A comedy in many episodes centred on the life of Will Shakespeare. Starring David Mitchell and written by Ben Elton. Great casting and clever writing . With much of the life, as imagined, of the great Bard. All of the script is a play in a way in the words of WS. I recommend it to all.
Takes place mainly in his London house and in Stratford .
As they say , "All the world is but a stage and each of us mere players upon it" -- to paraphrase .
And as such , to the next stage on which we must take our station and play our part . 'Tis a hope it will not be a tragedy in the end.
We play this day versus Brighton Belle F C .
Out I go , with my Volvo loaded with kit , water, balls etc and as I stop at the Annexe to off load , a call from the manager of BB , to tell me he cannot play the game as his only able to muster 6 players !!
So game has to be called of and I presume that the three points will be awarded to us as our opponents faulted .
So our last match could well be one for which we get three points!,
With all this wind we were having a cold taste of, it to be noted that in November the wind farms of Scotland generated 100% plus of all the electricity needs of Scotland. There's a thought to take with you as we approach the festive season when home use will be at its peak . And mostly from burning coal and oil !!
A very merry Christmas to all and we next meet as a team when we play on 30th December
