As of Monday this week, 72 written responses have been received, plus another 31 which have come in online.
This is a promising start, but the APHAx (Audlem Public Hall Annexe) committee need many more to be able to present a reasonable case to prospective funding authorities (such as the Big Lottery Fund).
So please complete and return the questionnaire (with copies if necessary for opinions from other family members) or do it online by clicking here.
Ideally, the responses need to be in before the Village Meeting on April 30th.
A comment in one of the replies included an interesting suggestion – "There is a wealth of musical talent in Audlem. This facility could also be used for practice of a variety of disciplines of music".
Would there be anyone out there, with a musical bent, who would be willing to join the APHAx committee to investigate the possibilities? The more potential functions that the Annexe can provide, the more likely we are to find the considerable funding required.
