Audlem Cricket Club is holding an open outdoor net practice on Thursday evening (17th April). Nets start at 6.00 pm and anyone interested in attending can just turn up at the Gorse Croft. They will continue on a Thursday evening throughout the season.
As you will be aware, last winter was the wettest on record. As a result, the ground has been waterlogged for months and it has only just been declared fit to play, hence the late notification.
The new season starts on Saturday with the 1st XI at home to Hazel Grove-based Norbury in the Cheshire Cricket Alliance Division 2 fixture and the 2nd XI travelling to Warrington to play Rylands. In addition, there is a Sunday XI which plays friendly matches against local teams.
