Another wasp nest

After the successful wasp nest removals previously reported on AudlemOnline (8th and 14th October), Paul Jones was back in Audlem last Friday expertly removing a massive nest from the loft of our house in School Lane, as shown in the photo opposite before removal.

Paul indicated that it was the biggest nest he had cleared this season.

He appears on the left of the second photo examining some of the remnants of the multi-story nest. Also appearing on the right of the photo is local bee-keeper Chris Knibbs, of Hatherton Honey fame, who seems pleased to see the demise of more of the bee-keeper's arch-enemy.
