The APHAx Committee is finalising the plaques to go on the Sponsors' wall in the new Public Hall Annexe.

The Plaques will be light green Perspex, 250mm by 50mm, with lettering in a near-white but slightly yellow colour. The plaques will be butted up against each other, in a format yet to be finalised, but the picture here gives a fairly good idea.

We have examined all the Plaque forms in detail, and we have settled on some general format standards – the typeface will be Calibri, and the font size will be as shown in the photo.
In general, lettering will be lower case apart from capital letters at the start of names. "&" will be used for "and" throughout.

About 90% of the plaques for individuals (i.e. not including businesses and groups) are of the form
"Arthur & Belinda Carter"
Or
"Arthur, Belinda & Colin Durbridge"
Or
...one of these forms with "& Family" attached.

In all these cases we are accepting the inscription as supplied on your plaque application form – if there is any doubt or your proposed inscription is in some way special (or might perhaps be too long), we will be contacting you to ask for detailed confirmation or amendment.
