And now for something a little different!

Imagine in a little over three weeks our main Christmas festivities will be over...perhaps, you will have had enough of turkey dinners, Christmas pudding, mince pies and sherry trifle. So as we head into the New Year how about a change of menu?

On Saturday January 19th 2019 at 6.30pm in The Scout & Guide Hall, St James Church will host a 'Chilli & Puds Evening' as part of its ongoing fund raising appeal for the upkeep of our historic village church building.

There will be vegetarian and gluten free Chilli and Pud options available. Please bring your own drinks and glasses.

Tickets priced at £12.50 (Children £5 and under 5s free) are available from Peter Ellis (812227), Frank Shenton (812432) or from Williams Newsagents.

Proceeds are in aid of the St James Fabric Fund Appeal.
