Alien sighting in Audlem

The question of whether we are alone in the universe may have finally been answered in the carpark of the Lord Combermere. We have now received numerous reports from people witnessing strange lights in the sky around 10:00pm last night.

Local resident Ian Haughey managed to capture the phenomenon on his phone whilst making his way to watch the excellent live music provided by 'stellar' local band Tap the Keg.

Despite the very real threat of alien invaders landing in the beer garden, the folk/gospel trio performed a cracking set described by one punter as "out of this world".

If anyone else witnessed the strange lights, and managed to get any photographs or footage, please send them in to AudlemOnline and we will boldly go to our inbox and upload them to the website.

We're hoping that the blazing object doesn't turn out to be an alcohol fuelled parrot colliding with a power line, as this would be a sad end to another popular Audlem story.
