ADAS and AWEG WORKING PARTIES

Saturday 11th July -- clearing Himalayan Balsam from Turnpike Field.
Please meet in the top field near the vehicle entrance at 9.30am.
Footwear -- Wellies advisable for those working near the brook and also sturdy gloves.
Please bring a garden rake and secateurs for dealing with brambles.
The session is expected to last two to three hours and if the weather prevents work on Saturday, Sunday 12th July will be the backup day.
After last year's successful efforts it should be an easier task this year.
AWEG members and all other volunteers will be most welcome.

Saturday 25th July -- there will be an ADAS session for weeding and planting the gardens of the Public Hall and Surgery.
Please meet in the Public Hall car park at 9.30am.
Again, the session is expected to last two to three hours.
Please bring rubbish bags, trugs,, secateurs, forks, spades and hand tools if you have them.
If the weather is bad, Sunday 26th July will be the backup day.
