ADAPT SATURDAY MARKET! Held in the Lord Combermere car park on Saturday morning between 10:00 and 12:00. The gazebo will be up and full of lovely produce, so come and see what's for sale this week.

The end of the summer warmth is nearly here and the vegetable patch is beginning to look bare. We will still have plenty for you to buy, last week the Honey Man's car stopped working so the stall was late starting and had to finish early to set up the apple pressing.

Back to normal this week. Red and white onions, beetroots of all sizes, maybe a few mangetout, squashes. Cucumbers, marrows, shallots 7 for 50p – a bargain. Eating and bramley apples. Eggs and fresh local honey. The very last of the sweet peas. Dahlia sold by the bloom. What more do you want!

This Sunday 30th September, sees the last of the apple pressing under the Butter Market from 2:00-4:00pm. Bring your apples and get them chopped and pressed into very tasty apple juice. Don't forget the bottles to put them in!
