Come and support Audlem's own produce stall held in the Lord Combermere car park between 10.00-12.00 on Saturday. All that you will see has been grown locally and picked fresh for you to buy.
This week's stall should be full of lovely vegetables, runner beans, beetroot, fennel, shallots, Italian onions and marrows ideal for a small family. There may be the odd tomatoes and anything else hidden in the veg patch.
Apple time is well and truly here, crispy eaters like Red Falstaff and cook a fantastic crumble with Bramley apples or use a heritage apple like Rev. Willes. Local eggs, local honey and bees wax, Sweets Peas and Dahlias should all make an appearance this week.
The ADAPT food group run this stall to promote growing your own and sustainability.Thank you to the Lord Combermere for letting us hold the weekly market, we never know what will appear on the stall but we are always ready to chat and tell you more about the group and gardening.
Come early and get the pick of the crop!
Thank you,
Valerie Mackin
