There will be another apples pressing this Sunday, 30th September, under the Butter Market from 2:00-4:00pm.

Unless there is more demand this will be the last public apple pressing this year. There have been a lot of apples this year and a lot have been made into lovely juice – don't miss out, bring your apples on Sunday.

If you have time to chop the apples (half for small, quartered for large). Bruising is fine but discard the bugs, this speeds up the process. Windfalls are best washed. We will put them through the scruncher and the press. As long as you bring some bottles the juice is yours.

There is no charge for pressing the apples but you may be asked to help, which is great fun.

Make use of this fantastic facility. Not many places offer free apple pressing. We only ask, if you have apples and don't want them either picked or still on the tree let us know either on the Saturday stall or the apple pressing and we will come a long and process them. The juice will be frozen and used to make hot spiced apple juice at our annual Homemade Christmas for everyone to try.

Enjoy!
