Paul Burgess on Parish Council Meeting
From the APC website It appears that the APC meeting for October has been cancelled to allow the new Clerk to get up to speed on the current problems/situations. See quote below.
Dear Residents,
We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to address an issue regarding the announcement of the cancellation of our October meeting, which unfortunately was not published on the APC website as intended. We sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Marilyn Paxton on BBC Audlem
After watching the BBC programme earlier this morning, which highlighted the termination of bus services in Audlem. It prompted the question what is happening re the APC?
According to their website, on 26 August it states a meeting is to be held Monday 7 October 7pm at AMC, no other information ie Agenda etc.
Is this meeting still going ahead?
Christine Johnson on Parish Council Meeting
Is there a Parish Council meeting tomorrow? I haven't seen any information about it.
Bryan Clydesdale on Parking Consultation
As I sure that everyone is in opposition to this.
I have sent an objection by email.
However the restrictions on which objections can be made are so restrictive that I believe that most objections will be ruled out.
This order will be passed and we will all suffer. Audlem will suffer from casual visitors having to pay for parking. Nantwich will suffer from people going to pubs in the evenings. Nantwich players will suffer from parking charges. Users of the Civic Hall will also suffer from these charges. The general public will also suffer from people looking for free parking spaces.
This is a totally negative way to run Cheshire East for the benefit of the residents.
Any objection or other representation relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing. All objections or representations must specify the
grounds on which they are made. Objections and other representations should be sent, marked for the attention of the Parking Services Manager,
Cheshire East Council, Delamere House, Delamere Stre

James Watkins on Thank you
Just wanted to say a big thank you to a man in Turnpike Field this afternoon. Unfortunately I do not know his name. I was walking back from a walk when I felt my diabetes start to affect me. I sat on a bench trying to get myself together but was feeling faint. This man came over to me as he could see I was struggling and asked if I was OK he sat with me for a good 10 mins then helped me off the field. All I know is his lovely dog was called Stan.
Sandra Nield on Builder recommendation
I would be very grateful if anyone could recommend a local builder to carry out some work in an outbuilding. Thank you.
Carolyn Sarah Vaughan on Guttering
William, WHS Roofing and Guttering Services, was doing a job for my sister in Audlem and she mentioned that I had leaking guttering.
William called on his way home, sent me a quote the next day and completed the job the day after.
He was polite, professional and did an excellent job.
I was extremely impressed with his efficiency and would highly recommend him.
Tim Lawton on Breakfast in the area
Mike, the Parish Council actually own Turnpike on behalf of the residents of Audlem, who in turn are paying the loan off through the Precept payments that that are collected from the parishioners in their actual council tax bill. So yes the People of Audlem are paying for it whilst the Parish Council manage it and are the name on the ownership deeds.
Celia Bloor on Turnpike Field Car parking
I would leave any monitoring of parking until charges start for the public hall car park!
Stephanie Richardson on Guttering
Williams contact number is 07526 563723€
Tim Denning on Turnpike Field Car parking
Before we get all excited about the level of parking on Turnpike it would be nice to know how many days a year we are actually allowed to park on it??
Mike Dewhirst on Breakfast in the area
It has been reported that Audlem PC owns Turnpike.
I thought that the people of Audlem were the owners since these were the purchasers.
Am I wrong?
