Celia Bloor on Monday mornings!
Would one of the businesses in Audlem consider providing coffee before 12 on a Monday? Cafe-closed, Pubs-closed, the butchers used to do take aways but they too are closed!
kevin errington on Front door vandalism
Apparently there is a new craze on Tik Tok whereby people, mainly youngsters run up and kick doors whilst friends video it.
I've seen this come up on YouTube but this was in Canada I think.
Perhaps it's migrated to the UK?
Roger Millns on Roof and Guttering Repaiir
Just had some guttering and roof repairs undertaken at Hankelow Chapel. We used Hughes Roofing – Tel. 07885 396932. Prompt response to our request for a quote with good advice on the work needed. The job was completed job within a week of providing a quote which was a good one. Ryan was courteous and helpful.

Les Jones on Front door vandalism
Hi All,
Yesterday evening between 6.30pm and 7pm, someone violently kicked our front door, leaving a shoe mark and cracking a panel on the door. We're not aware of upsetting anyone and have no idea why someone would do that. I'm just wondering if this happened to anyone else?
Cheers,
Les Jones

Does anyone know of a good local carpet shampooer? We need the Community Hall carpet cleaning at Hankelow chapel.
Celia Bloor on Footpath
Steve, if you go to the Nls nat library of Scotland maps site you can see old tracks used to access the mill e.g. 1882 I don't know if this helps

Does anyone know someone who can overhaul a very slow laptop which keeps disconnecting itself from the internet please? thanks.
Peter Morgan on Two Things
Last week, two things in particular that stood out on AoL as being excellent were the exceptional ADCA letter written by Roger Millns to Cheshire East opposing the proposed car parking charges. Point by point and line by line, a devastating critique of CE proposal. Bravo.
The second item was the beautiful prose poem written by Adrian. Even the good lady of this establishment commented upon it and she's a teacher... and don't I know it!

S N Bailey & Partners on Permissive Footpath at Swanbach
Just to let readers know that we hope to harvest the Maize fields either side of the Permissive Footpath between the A529 at Swanbach and the Canal Bridge, on Thursday or Friday of this week. We are conscious of the recent heavy rainfall and additional need of safety for both walkers and operatives so have decided to close the path during this time. Thank you as always for your understanding.

Darren Thompson on White lion pub quiz
Why is the picture of the old white lion used instead of the new white lion? It's been a few years since the renovation time to change the photo.
