Your dog and farm animals

A message from Cheshire Rural Crime Team

As a rural crime team we work hard to educate the community about the countryside code and awareness about livestock worrying. Even though we do this we are still getting too many reports of sheep, cattle and horses being worried, chased and bitten.

Please can I ask that if you own a dog to take the time to go onto Operation Recall | Naturewatch Foundation (see here ).

We all care for our pet dogs so please also care for the animals that you share the space with. It may be a public footpath but the fields and land are owned by farmers, small holdings and pet owners so there MAY BE animals in the field. Keep you dog on a lead and protect the livestock and your pet.
