Would you like to sponsor a cricket ball?

Following last season's successful appeal, Audlem Cricket Club is again seeking sponsorship from both individuals and local businesses for the forthcoming season.  The Club would like to thank all those who supported the call for sponsorship last year.

As you read yesterday, 2012 will see the 1st XI once more targeting promotion to Division 1 of the Cheshire Cricket Alliance.  The 2nd XI will again compete in Division 4 having exceeded all expectations in finishing fourth last year.

During the season 42 league games are scheduled to be played.  In addition, each team enters the knockout cups – the 1st XI reached the semi-finals last year.  A new ball is needed for every match.  Each ball costs almost £15, so the cost of the match balls for the season is over £650.

In order to defray some of the cost of the balls, the Club is asking for sponsorship. If you would like to sponsor a match ball, the Club is asking for £15.

As you are aware, Audlem Online endeavours to report each game and the name of the sponsor will be mentioned in the report of the game and at the end of the report, when the following week's fixtures are previewed.
