Perhaps a farm is not the first place that you would expect to find people worshiping God. Yet in the past the ordinary situations of life were as important to faith as churches.

Sadly we have lost some of that seamlessness of faith and life. We have also got so used to thinking of worship as being an indoor activity.

The natural world around us often plays a far greater part in our faith experience then is acknowledged. Our "Worship on a Farm on Sunday afternoon, at 4.00pm, helps us to rediscover that.

Over the centuries it has been the tradition of the church at, what is called, Rogation (meaning "asking") to remember how and where our food comes from and those who provide it and to pray from the life and work of the farming community.

This year we will be taking a walk around Monks Hall Farm (situated at the end of Mill Lane, in the dip between Hankelow and Audlem, near Corbrook). The service will be followed by refreshments. Join us for this occasion for all the family, for something a little different and don't forget your wellies!
