The work completed at Audlem by the Towpath Task Force on the 14th of July:
- Replanted plants and flowers (paid for by the volunteers) and tidied the "Welcome to Audlem" sign, including cutting back external vegetation.
- Cleared overhanging vegetation from the off-side access making the access and egress to the moorings between Lock 14 and 15 safer to use.
- Cleared the path back to a safe surface on the off-side access path, making the access and egress to the moorings between Lock 14 and 15 safer to use.
- Trimmed weeds and vegetation around the washwall above Lock 13.
- Trimmed weeds and vegetation that is overhanging at head height along the towpath between Locks 12 and 11
The work completed at Audlem on the 15th of July:
- Repainted Lock 11 of the flight
- Edged grass and removed weeds from surfaces on the lock quadrant of Lock 11 of the flight
- Cleared overhanging vegetation from the footpath styles, removing briars (public complaint) making the access and egress safer to use.
- Repainted safety fences (approx 100m worth of 3-pail fence) protecting the bywash at Lock 11 of the flight
- Refitted the missing guttering and repaired the remaining gutter on the mason's hut, adjacent to Lock 11
- Cleared grass and cob-webs on the mason's hut, adjacent to Lock 11
The work completed at Audlem on the 16th of July:
- Full oil, grease and lubrication of all the Lock mechanism's, paddles and gate collars on Locks 1 to 12
- Planted more plants and flowers (paid for by the volunteers) and tidied the "Welcome to Audlem" sign, including cutting back external vegetation.
