Work on Canal Towpath

Please be advised third-party contractors, working for United Utilities, will be onsite between Bridge 78, Audlem Town Bridge and Lock 11, Audlem Lock on the Shropshire Union Canal.

To be able to carry out the investigation works, contractors will need to gain access from the towpath and will be moving small machinery to the land alongside the canal via the towpath

Whilst both the towpath and navigation will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors on site.
