Road closure at Windmill Lane, Buerton

The Parish Council have have informed us of the following notice from Cheshire East Council

Tuesday 8th until Wednesday 9th April 2014

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, issues this notice temporarily to prohibit traffic in the following length of road:-

WindmillLane, Buerton from its junction with Longhill Lane to Woore Road.

It is anticipated that the works will be carried out from Tuesday 8th until Wednesday 9th April 2014.

The closure is necessary to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out urgent carriageway patching works.

The alternative diversion route will be via Woore Road and Longhill Lane; and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.

This notice will become operative on Tuesday 8th April 2014.
