Jubilee Bridge at Overwater Marina  Her Majesty The Queen has written to express her interest in Overwater Marina's recent three awards in a row success and in particular her approval of the naming of their brand new Jubilee Bridge.  The Grand Opening of which takes place at their Safety Afloat & Family Fun Day on Sunday 24 June.

Due to prior commitments, Her Majesty apologies for being unable to attend.  However our invitation has been forwarded to the Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire, David Briggs Esq MBE, who is responsible for coordinating all Royal visits to the county.  So there is still the possibility that our Jubilee Bridge may be officially opened by another member of the Royal Family!

#Safety Afloat Day
The Jubilee Bridge Grand Opening is only one part of the marina's Safety Afloat & Family Fun Day.  The programme of events include :
An RAF Squirrel Helicopter RNLI Safety Boat Rescue Demo Cheshire Fire Service Demo Cheshire Police &Police Divers Search & Rescue Team & Rescue Dogs Lifeguards Heart Start & First Responders
Fun for all the family with a novelty dog show, photography competition, wildlife walks with many trade, food and craft stands available throughout the day.

Why not join us for a fantastic day!
