Will Friday be Good?

Good Friday can often seem a strange kind of day. For some who have a feeling for the religious significance it can be an in between day; whilst for others it may hold an importance without being clear what that might be for them. Like other such times of wondering, this is a time to stop and reflection can help us wherever we may feel ourselves to be.

This Good Friday we give an opportunity for any who wish to join us at 2pm at St James Church for an hour we have called "Touching the Cross".

A selection of readings, prayers, and music will guide our thoughts through the events of the original Good Friday.
Our ecumenical Singing Group with members from the Audlem Churches will help us with songs and music that follow our theme. We will also have the opportunity to physically engage through our use of our hands as we seek to know more fully that love which follows when we "touch the cross".
