Whitchurch Road tractors

On Thursday, I watched a large tractor and trailer get to the top of Whitchurch Road hill. The wheels of the trailer were up against the kerb of the pavement but the top of the silage trailer was level with the wall of the property.

Finally, it is silaging again and I have to say that I have found it extremely worrying walking down the Whitchurch Road hill at the moment because there is a constant flow of the giant tractors and trailers up and down the hill at over 30mph.

It's extremely dangerous as I found out when two pass one another and they didn't even slow down.

I am not sure how we tackle this one. Could someone have a word with the contractors? Even phasing running up and down the hill so two don't have to cross would be preferable. On my walk down the hill with the dog one tractor came up and two went down.

AudlemOnline adds: Apologies for the photos. The only recent ones we have were taken during the recent resurfacing work.
