A hive of inactivity at 1600 (Friday)
Despite promises by CE Highways that Weaver Bridge would be open at weekends, at 4:30 pm Friday the barriers are all padlocked, the large digger is in residence, and no workers are to be seen.
Does CE have a different definition for weekend to the rest of us, or should we expect to see a team opening up the road at midnight?
Yet another example of our illustrious council's lack of communication with its customers. Maybe they're all far too busy working on the Local Plan to have time to talk to their local taxpayers?
