The attached road closure is active from 31 May 2023 for five days to allow footway improvements.

However, you will note in the body of the email that it is hoped that works will be between Wednesday and Friday of that week.

In brief, Whitchurch Road will be closed between Green Lane and Moorsfield Avenue.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

S14 (2) ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers issues this notice temporarily to prohibit traffic in the following length of road:-

Whitchurch Road, Audlem Ward, Nantwich, CW3 0DX from the junction of Moorsfield Avenue to the junction of Green Lane

The alternative route will be via the following streets: – Whitchurch Road, Rookery Lane, Sheppenhall Lane, Cock Lane, Baddington Lane, Shrewbridge Road, Park Road, Audlem Road, Broad Lane, Crewe Road, Bridgemere Lane, Cheshire Street

Location Map — s: Wednesday 31st May 2023 to Friday 2nd June 2023.

This notice will become operative on Wednesday 31st May 2023 for a period of 5 days or for such less time as is necessary to enable the works to be completed.
