Ralph Warburton of ADAS reports: "Delighted to report that all the Christmas trees and lights were taken down by a willing team of Mike Haines, David Latchford, Bill Consterdine, Pete Mumbles, Phil Baker and myself. We worked all morning and finished by 12.30pm – finger numbing cold work! The trees were all recycled through the Scout & Guide event. Logs from the big tree were delivered to the tree sponsor. And the work ended with a closing drink at the Lord Combermere – with the compliments of Steve Nash.
"My thanks to all who helped in a good team effort. The village looks quite empty now."
