Wheelyboat to Hibernate

This week the Wheelyboat completed its final outing of the Season with a group of people from Kidsgrove.

The Wheelyboat is now put to bed for the Winter and will be back in action in April 2017.

The Maughan Lass gives those with mobility difficulties and needing wheelchairs, both young and old, as well as offering a 'walk on' service for those with more mobility, the opportunity to have a trip on the water.

In order to raise funds, a Quiz Night was held at The Lord Combermere in Audlem on Tuesday 15th November, with grateful thanks to Allan and Jo for their hospitality and hard work to help stage this event.

Thanks also go to Ralph Warburton for his sterling efforts as quiz master, and to the quizzers who turned out in force, as total of £158 was raised for the Maughan Lass Wheelyboat Service.
