Will Everard
This is a model of a Thames Barge, the Will Everard(built in 1925), which has kept me occupied during shielding and lockdown.
It is my first attempt at building a model which has been a steep learning curve. I have had to learn how to bend and glue planks, paint and varnish, translate exploded plans, make ratlines and rigging and as the plans were so bad find my way round problems where there was a void in the instructions.
There will not be a launching ceremony as it is too precious and I would be devastated if it sunk which is a definite possibility
