Weekly Quiz nights in Audlem.

There is a posting on The Lord Combermere website which states The famous TLC quiz will be returning!!! keep your eyes peeled. As caretaker quizmaster for the past six months and at the time of The Lord Combermere closure back in February, necessitating our move to The Bridge, I can quite categorically state that this is not the case. We are staying put having enjoyed the excellent hospitality of Sharon & Richard and will continue to do so.

Future plans for the Lord Combermere may include a quiz night but it will not be the one which was begun by Ralph Warburton as indeed the posting infers.

Our quiz takes place weekly at The Bridge on a Tuesday evening. We do seven, sometimes eight rounds, of which one is a table top round which is to be completed in the duration, approx 90 -- 105 minutes, so the earlier one gets there, the more time teams have to do it. Quizzing over the mic begins at 8.30 prompt. There are prizes of good quality bottles of wine for the winning team of each round. Halfway through the evening we enjoy a buffet of chips and sandwiches, kindly provided by Sharon & Richard and of course Brittany. Entry fee is £2 per person, which represents excellent value and any profits are ploughed back into our Grand Christmas Buffet & Quiz. Why not give us a try?
