Weaver Bridge Whitchurch Road

I regret to say that Cheshire East Council have delayed repair works to the Weaver Bridge for the third time.

Works are, ‘now anticipated to take place between 13th and 17th July, as per details below.

Justification for these continuing delays are:

• Lack of Capacity
• Conflicting Road Closures
• Delay with the procurement of the stone for the bridge repair

I am acutely aware of the suffering this and the statutory weight limit on ‘Baddington Bridge’ is having on our village, which I continue to raise with Cheshire East as I seek rectification.
